Denver Urban Gardens, or DUG, has been building and serving its community one garden at a time for 30 years. They now support a network of 150 community gardens and are establishing a fund for garden upkeep, improvements, training, and education to ensure each one reaches its full potential. To many of the low income neighborhoods, community gardens not only provide fresh produce, but also a positive social structure for children and their families.
